Rachel & Fraser’s wedding is without a doubt one of my favourite of 2017. It was the hottest July day ever when I arrived at the amazing Dunglass Estate. It’s really hard to find right words to describe that venue… unique, historic, picturesque and in some kind - magical. Always brings anyone off to a romantic mood. I started the day taking shots of everyone getting ready. After taking some great photos I went to Dunglass Collegiate Church where the intimate and traditional Scottish ceremony took place. Instead of traditional wedding car the bride was escorted by her father in magnificent 1966 Austin Healey Sprite. Straight after everyone enjoyed canapes with champagne in dashing sun and a few minutes later we disappeared with the bride and groom to take some beautiful pics around the estate. Once we were back we managed to take family photos and then it was time for an amazing food and great party. Wedding breakfast was preceded by three speeches - father of the bride, the groom himself and the best man - telling some great stories from when he and Fraser travelled together. The Little Red wedding band took a great care about the crowd and provided a traditional Ceilidh dancing. Just after the first dance I spotted phenomenal lighting and couldn’t resist taking couple for more photos… it was just perfect for wedding photography.
It was a pure joy and pleasure to capture memories for Rachel and Fraser, I had the most amazing time photographing their wedding day.
